Elegant and rare pair of Art Deco bookends, circa 1930.
Each piece depicts a finely modeled horse head in green-patinated metal, adorned with its original gilt metal bridle.
They rest on a rectangular Portor marble base, adding a refined contrast to the sculptural forms.
An early edition casting, representative of the craftsmanship and aesthetic excellence of the 1930s.
