A modernist tea set with stylised beaks and rosewood handles designed in 1933 for Christofle by Christian Fjerdingstad (1891-1968) who was one of the greatest Art Deco silversmith and designers. This modernist design is based on variations of the circle and spherical lines.

    Tea pot and matching cream jug, sugar bowl and tray executed by the legendary Christofle, a house who built a top reputation for the finest quality. Charles Christofle bought in 1843 the patent for silver - electroplating, brought it to the highest perfection and applied on it state of the art polishing techniques that give the silver an exceptional depth and lustruous and shine. Fjerdingstad worked for 20 years with Christofle as of 1921.
